Destination Door County Brand Identity
Door County boasts over 300 miles of shoreline, meaning visitors can watch the sun rise and set over the water without leaving the county. There are thousands of acres of orchards, famous cherry pies, scenic bluffs to kayak along, parks to hike in, and historic lighthouses to tour. It's safe to say Door County is a jewel along Wisconsin’s coast of Lake Michigan.
When Door County’s Visitor Bureau underwent a name change to “Destination Door County,” they needed to update their brand. I had the pleasure of creating a modern, yet timeless logo that honored their maritime heritage. Subtle waves make up the first word “Door” in Door County, making reference to Lake Michigan.
